Guidebook Outreach and Mailing 

The Community Foundation's Luiza Benisano distributed the Guidebooks to the Senior Service Network at Carson City, Sanford Center for Aging, United Methodist Church, Care Chest, and talked about the Guidebooks. The Guidebooks were also distributed to 200 health providers in the community.  

Our next presentation will be at Northern Nevada Hopes on January 22nd. We will also be participating with Prominence Care Center's senior event on January 29th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elks Lodge - 597 Kumle Lane, Reno, NV 89509. Self-Care Tip for the Caregiver 

Network with other caregivers and family members: being able to identify and communicate with family members and other caregivers going through similar situations can bring a sense of relief and reduce isolation. There are many support groups available specific to medical, emotional, and physical abilities.
