Paul Mitchell
Donor Relations Committee
Paul Mitchell serves on the Donor Relations Committee for the Community Foundation.
Paul is currently the recruitment and retention coordinator and a professor at the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. Before entering the academic world, Paul worked in the newspaper business for 10 years. During his time in the newspaper industry, he worked as a reporter and editor at the Philadelphia Tribune and as an editor for the Asbury Park Press and the National Sports Daily. He was previously involved with the Northern Nevada Black Cultural Awareness Society. He brings his background in marketing and advertising to the Community Foundation.
Giving back to the community, especially where his children are being raised, is important to Paul.
Paul has lived in Reno for over 26 years. He has three children. When he’s not working or contributing to the Community Foundation, Paul enjoys building things and working on cars.
